Here is the current schedule and next steps in the city process related to the Ball Arena/KSE rezoning request:
- August 14th, 1:30 pm – Denver City Council’s South Platte River Committee – Hearing – no vote
- August 30 – City Attorney submits bill requests for:
- metro district service plan
- rezoning
- development agreement
- arena trust agreement (KSE’s commitment to remain in Denver) and
- view plane exemption
- September 11th, 1:30pm – Denver City Council’s South Platte River Committee – Public Hearing and vote to advance bills to City Council
- TBD – Completed Community Benefit Agreement
- September 23rd, 3:30pm – City Council First Reading for Rezoning
- October 14th, 3:30pm – City Council First Reading on metro district service plan, development agreement, arena trust agreement, and view plane exemption.
- October 21st, 3:30pm – City Council Public Hearing and Final Vote on rezoning, metro district service plan, development agreement, arena trust agreement and view plane exemption.
