LoDo neighbors,
Are you concerned about getting run over by scooters speeding along the sidewalk? Do you sometimes have trouble navigating scooters laying across the sidewalks or crosswalks? Did you know it is illegal for scooters to ride on the sidewalks in LoDo? Are our sidewalks safe?
Here is how you can help. LoDoNA has formed a Pedestrian Safety Committee and is working on several fronts with the City of Denver to get the scooter companies to abide by the terms of their agreements. If you see scooters blocking sidewalks or scooter riders zipping around on the sidewalk, pull out your phone and take pictures or videos of the infractions.
